- Assist the client in executing the siding agreement with Railways
- Liaison with Divisional Head Quarters at the concerned Railway & Head Quarters of the concerned Railway for all rail related matters in execution of the siding work
- Preparation of detailed tender documents such as technical and commercial specification, schedule of items and tender conditions and drawings for the civil, electrical and Signaling and telecommunication works
- Arrange for conducting field tests wherever required and To give mark out for laying of track to the contractor
- Setting initial and final levels for execution of the work and Planning, scheduling and monitoring of the project work
- Planning and deploying adequate personnel at the site to coordinate, supervise and inspect at the site during execution of the work including quality control.
- Maintain Close liaison with railways, construction agency and the client to ensure proper coordination in the progress of work and cash flow
- Ensure safe working conditions during execution
- Preparing, maintaining and certifying measurements of work of the contracting agency periodically for progressive payments
- Submission of progress reports, holding meetings with the client and the contractor to review all critical activities and remedial measure for delay
- Arrange for Testing and Trial Runs
and Organize Inspection of the completed works by Railways
- To obtain final approval of the Railways before the siding is commissioned

- Preparation of completion estimate and completion drawings for records
